How to skip the wires inside a wooden wall

Any repairs to your electrical systems will include the routing of electrical wiring for new lighting fixtures, switches, sockets and other wiring accessories. Follow these steps to hide the wires in the walls of the frame.

If your apartment has a wood-frame walls and partitions, you may be able to hide the wires in the walls. It depends on where you want to install electrical devices and on whether there is horizontal struts or isolation on the way. To gain access you will have to drill a hole in the top or bottom of the wall base.

Running wires in an existing wall

Locate the wall and lift the parquet boards (flooring) and remove the insulation. Drill a hole with a drill.

Wire feed down through the hole and into the wall cavity. The wire must pass freely, if not blocking insulation inside the wall.

Cut a hole in the wall in the place of location of the appliance. Pushes the cable through the hole.

Further, all on the same principle.

If running wires to the wall, you will need to drill holes in the wooden cross supports.
