Why do people build houses of 400 squares for a family of 2?
Surely each of you has an acquaintance who at one moment got the idea of getting his own country house, but he caught fire so much that a house of 100-150 squares no longer suits him.
One of my colleagues is one of those. With a modest salary for the city, for 6 years in a row, he has been building a house with a total area of 380 square meters: with 7 rooms, two bathrooms and wide corridors. The height of the ceilings in the house is 3.5 meters (just imagine what cubic capacity will have to be heated in winter).
At the same time, the construction site does not even think of ending - last year, an acquaintance just moved on to finishing work inside the house.
His main arguments in favor of such a giant personnyaka:
- we will live in the same house with our children;
- you want more space than in an apartment;
- two bathrooms are a necessity, and one is a mockery;
- I want a home to be proud of.
If you look closely, the arguments are not so convincing: sooner or later, children will clearly want to live separately, and with an area of 380 squares, a husband and wife may not meet in the house, let alone a queue in the toilet :)
Small houses have become popular in Europe since the 90s (Tiny Houses concept), which have everything you need, and whose area does not exceed 70-80 square meters.

The cost of maintaining such a house is no more than 100 euros per month (6,500 rubles in rubles). If you build such a house in Russia, then the amount will be even less, I'm sure.
The thoughtfulness of the space of the house, coupled with the modern design of the resting places, will allow you to freely unfold even on modest 50-60 "squares".
What do you choose:
- a giant of 300 squares who will devour your money?
- or a small economical house?
