Thank you for sending photos of your construction successes to us by mail. Today we will tell you the unique story of Andrey Gorodovoy. The author wanted a house combined with a garage, and made the dream come true: Andrei raised his house above the ground and equipped an excellent foam block garage on the ground floor.

At the first stage, the house stood on a simple columnar foundation, the underground was ventilated. The goal of the builder is to increase the gap to the size of a full floor and equip a garage and workshop in it.

The beginning of the beginning - raising the house on four 12-ton jacks, fixing it on the bars and pouring the strip foundation under the garage walls

The foundation was poured, letting it settle for 20 days. It's time to start laying out the first rows of solid bricks. Light foam blocks will go above.

First results: laid out about 50% of the floor height. Notice how the wooden support of the house has grown (you can clearly see it on the left). We will remind, Andrey carried out all the work using only the help of his wife.

The work seems to be nearing completion: the ground floor box has been successfully assembled, the top layer of the blocks is waterproofed and supports the house. We are waiting for the garage door jumper to take hold.

In the meantime, it's time to start filling in sand, gravel, lay a masonry mesh and pour a concrete floor in the garage. Andy did not insulate it with penoplex or other synthetic heat insulator because of the high cost of this method of insulation.

In the process of thinking, it was decided to abandon traditional swing gates in favor of roller shutters: although they are more expensive, they look more aesthetically pleasing and modern.

The home stretch: autumn has come, but the construction work has been successfully completed: the house has been covered with a canopy, where the recreation area will be located, and the garage can be used.

In the future, Andrey plans to plaster the walls of the garage and change / repaint the cladding of the upper part of the house.
