A method that allows you to forget about pumping out the cesspool for a long time
According to my observations, a cesspool of 5 concrete rings in the summer for a family of four is literally enough for a month: because of the heat, the whole family bathes more often, in summer women wash more vegetables, and in general everyone relaxes and spends more water.
It is good if you have a pit installed on a culvert soil, and not on clay, which creates a lock for water and does not allow it to be absorbed into the ground. If your septic tank fills up too quickly - use my advice.
The best way is bio-drainage
Many plants have properties such as increased transpiration - the ability to pass a large amount of water extracted by the roots through the trunk and branches. Water rises to the leaves, and then evaporates under the influence of ultraviolet radiation.
Certain types of trees "pump" through themselves up to 200 liters of water per day! Surely you and your family will not spend so much water - the main thing is to plant the right plant near the septic tank.
List of plants with high transpiration:
- Weeping willow - it is not for nothing that this unpretentious and beautiful tree grows in the wild along the banks of water bodies. Transpiration - 180 liters of water per day;
- Common birch - birch adores in-depth relief and often grows along the banks of natural ravines and gullies - this is no accident, birch pumps through itself up to 150 liters of water per day.
- Lombardy poplar - a great option: there are few "stickies" from it at the beginning of summer, there is almost no fluff, it does not shade the area, but at the same time it looks gorgeous and does not need to be cut. Transpiration - 130 liters of water per day.
Plant 1-2 plants from this list near a cesspool, and you will forget about the need to pump it out for a long time.
At the same time, the only problem that can happen is that the root system can slightly damage the outer borders of the septic tank.
