The story of a neighbor who built a bathhouse for free in 2 years

In the late nineties, a man lived with us next door. Call him Arthur, and then he worked as a mechanic - he repaired harvesters on a collective farm. The man was dexterous, wiry and damn strong, for every day he worked with heavy CVTs from combines. But this is not about that, but about how he built a bathhouse in his country house for free in 2 years.

As unnecessary, the building of the boiler house was dismantled on the collective farm, and about a thousand bricks, as unnecessary, remained on the territory. Arthur talked to the boss: "can I take it?" He sent him to the chairman. He promised Arthur three times, but never answered: "yes / no".

Then Arthur came up with a clever scheme: he rode his bike home for dinner, and each trip he took two cinder blocks and put them on the trunk. In the evening, returning home, he took two more cinder blocks. Total: 4 blocks per day. And so every day, including weekends.

Of course, it was possible to drive a truck at night: but this is a matter of jurisdiction, and in the village it is too difficult to hide something.

This went on for two years, until not a single block of the old boiler house remained. And the bathhouse, meanwhile, grew up at Arthur's dacha.

By the way, Arthur lined the bathhouse with red iron - protective covers from combines. The men themselves dismantled them as unnecessary - the combine constantly breaks down, and every time it is very dreary to remove them. And in the country - the very thing.
