Early cucumbers, pleasant surprises
Sowed cucumber seeds on March 9. 50% soil, 50% biohumus. On the third day they went up. Look at which one of them was swinging by April 2:
And this is he with his friend, sown and sprouted in one day:
There was a phytolamp illumination and, at a minimum, my favorite "poultices" with bacteria. If you are interested, in the comments I will answer what I did, because I’m afraid that I’m already tired of my bacteria :) But the reason for this difference, with a high probability, is in a particular seed.
Once I made a bedding under the cotyledons, hoping to slow down growth, but Foureau realized that he had to continue to grow in all directions, not slow down.
I had already tempered the cucumbers in the greenhouse, where they had to endure a little heat and cold, the temperature dropped to + 8 ° C. After that frosts were expected, and I brought the sissies home, back under the phyto-lamps.
The overgrown Furo F1 on April 2 had to be urgently transplanted. He already had something in his bosoms. The root has mastered the entire half-liter package, a little bit of space for the roots remained at the top, where quite recently the bedding was:
Soil for the bag was taken by "Fat", added vermicompost 1: 1
The box is needed, because the cucumber is not a tomato, it will not tolerate being squeezed by its root system during transportation.
I think, as I grow, I will add bedding so that there are more roots. I will lead to 1 stem. After the first cucumbers, I'll see what to do next.
Estet F1 will change a little later.
Do you have seedlings of early cucumbers?
I would be grateful for your subscription and communication :)
