The story of the one who remade the side cutters

I needed to cut the wire in the grooves (in the recesses). With what? I had side cutters, they gripped the wire well, but could not cut it, there was not enough effort. They have such a design.

The time for you to understand was Soviet, the instrument is in short supply. I bought a pair of wire cutters, it turned out that I needed more than one wire cutter. It would be nice in every pocket, and even in the glove compartment of the car...

The money for such a spare tool was a pity. This is especially acute when you go to modern shops.

By the way, can anyone tell me why large nippers are cheaper than small ones?

The side cutters turned out to be a useless tool for me. Lying around... Their working part is too long, it takes a lot of effort to bite with the tips. Moreover, such side cutters often become unusable (lips break off, just diverge).

I thought and thought and found a very easy solution to my problem.
