Shovel flat cutter - invention
I saw how it works - impressed! Below is a link to the video. Neither a scythe nor any other instrument can scrub the earth in this way. The 10 m by 5 m area overgrown with grass was cleared to zero in half an hour.
Prehistory
Friends' plot is fenced with netting. The grass near the fence was mowed down, there were "bits" left. The wife, with a knife on the most, that neither was, all fours crawled and cut off the remains of the grass.
And her husband was thinking how to help her? And so, about 4 years ago I came up with it.
If you were just shown this tool, you would not understand anything. As I did at the beginning. And in general, it seemed to me that nothing could be better than Fokin's plane cutter.
It turned out that gardeners have different tasks. Fokin's flat cutter is not always appropriate. It is small and solves problems of the appropriate scale. And try them to remove the thick, high grass under the fence!
Or try it with an ordinary hoe. Unpleasant collisions with the fence are guaranteed. A shovel cutter can do the job! I will call him respectfully, with a capital letter, there is a reason!
Here's a thing:
Since the model is unusual, I will show you more. But first, a little about the manufacturing process.
How it was done
A friend guessed to unfold the shovel and weld the metal handle at an angle.
Like this:
The handle was from the rake, just long, properly curved, metal.
He sharpened the shovel sharply, then painted it. During work, the paint is erased from the tip, the rest remains. Here it is necessary to stop, about the paint is interesting.
What paint to paint a flat cutter from a shovel and ships
Answer: pentaphthalic enamel. What have the ships to do with it? And here's the story.
In 2000, an order was received at the plant where a friend worked. It was necessary to make pantones-suction cups for the piers. The constructions were made. To the surprise of the workers, the painting was ordered with pentaphthalic enamel.
Customers said that institutions around the world are looking for how to handle ships. So that the bottoms do not become overgrown with shells, and the paint does not wear off when rubbed against water.
Leningraders (the time was Soviet) accidentally found. In a hurry, for lack of ship paints, they painted with PF enamel. And they were surprised. It turned out that ordinary household paint behaved better than special ship paint.
And now, How does the Shovel Plane cutter work?. Filmed specifically on an overgrown foreign site. Continuation of the video
