The distance between the rafters "dances". Now I think how it happened, and what to do with the insulation?
A new and important stage in the work of insulating the attic begins with new nuances for me.
To maintain the ideal dimensions during construction, especially if you do everything for the first time, hardly anyone will succeed. So I, apparently, decided not to drop out of statistics.
Even at the stage construction of a rafter system, I understood that the distances that I set between the rafters, not the Mauerlate and the ridge, are unlikely to be the same in the middle of the rafter leg.
✅Of course, it was possible to control this, during installation of battens.
But I, for some reason, decided not to do this, and now I get the corresponding result.
Having measured the distances in several places, we got the following figures:
This is maximum...
And at least
Everything floats within these limits ...
Personally, it seems to me that this will not create big problems when installing insulation, but how it will actually be unknown.
Insulation was purchased with a width of 600 mm. And it turns out that somewhere it will hold on freely, and in some places, it will need to be pushed very tightly. And the main question is, how does all this affect the thermal efficiency ???
If someone has experience, tell me if such distances between the rafters are critical?
Although the material is already in place, there is still a lot of preparatory work to be done before insulation.
