Nakhodka - sweet pepper Veronica
I got 2 forms of Veronica pepper, and - hurray - the same crimson color that I dreamed of. I just haven't had a raspberry one yet. Wrote about Wernicke here
And one more unexpected hurray - 30 peppers on the bush on August 2, and there will be more! I'll show you the bush.
Sowed all the peppers on March 11. Seedlings are not friendly, they began to appear in a week.
Pepper Veronica is moderately sweet, very juicy, classically tasty.
He first blushes, then picks up crimson. The color is difficult for color rendering, therefore, take my word for it :)
Red and raspberry are the same to taste.
In general, peppers of various shapes, colors and ripening times are sold under the name Veronica. I am writing about the one that I got.
On the scales, raspberry on the left and red on the right:
Red, another shape, from a nearby bush.
Planting and leaving
When planting for permanent residence, I added vermicompost to all peppers in a couple of liters. And some on a capsule of Agrovitamin AVA. She also fed me.
Well, she also protected from fans of gnawing leaves, climbing flowers, etc. That is, I sprayed Liposam with Fitoverm with bioadhesive three times and Lepidocide a couple of times. I still don't know who tried to gnaw. Most importantly, he stopped.
Veronica grew up in my greenhouse, only this variety, so as not to become over-pollinated. The first well-colored peppers were removed in mid-July.
The next harvest from August 2 looks like this:
About a large bush
Here she is, crimson Veronica on the most prolific bush:
On it, as I wrote above, 30 peppers ripen at the same time and there are still flowers and ovaries. The height turned out to be 80 centimeters, I had to tie it up. In the open field, several bushes 50 centimeters high, grow without a garter.
Here's a fruitful story. I will take seeds from both forms of pepper. I wonder if the kids will repeat their parents. And again I will grow it separately to preserve this beautiful variety.
What kinds of pepper do you like?
I would be grateful for your subscription and communication :)
