The number of compartments in the septic tank. I am doing the best option for my site.

I didn't think that the construction of a septic tank would be a long-term construction for me. But the end of this epic is already visible ...

For the entire time of building my house, I have already got used to the fact that all schemes and models (for any work) that can be found on the Internet are of a general nature. And at your construction site, always, you need to adjust everything according to the situation.

And my septic tank is generally a complete exception.

There will be two compartments in total, not three as is often the case.

• The first is the main sump.
• The second one with clarified water.
• And the final stage will be the filtration field.

And this is the only way out.

The reason for this is high groundwater.

And to do the third - the drainage compartment, there is simply no point. Waste water will not have time to be filtered.

So again - concrete work.

After all the torment with filling the main body, it's time to make a partition that will divide the septic tank into compartments.

• To do this, I made a formwork, from the same OSB, and ripped it apart from all sides.
• Inside, there must be reinforcement, which I connected to the walls by drilling the mortgages.

❗ After all the difficulties with the formwork, when pouring the external walls, here I decided to do everything powerfully and reliably (as it seemed to me).

But this was not enough. Concrete is a "terrible force". The formwork was blown up anyway ...

While beauty is not important, functionality is important.
