Many people say that this is the easiest way to extract water from the site. I tested the hydrodrilling on myself and was disappointed.

Most of the theories have nothing to do with actual practice. Especially when it comes to "specialists" from the Internet.

I want to say right away that my opinion is not an expert one.. Since I first dealt with hydrodrilling, I probably made some mistakes. But I do not want to teach something, but to share an experience that will save you from such mistakes.

And now to the very bottom:

Drilling depth, how to guess?

This is an important point that most drillers solve in a simple way - bypassing neighbors. A real-life example of a neighbor's well is the best landmark.

But what if there are no wells in the area? Well, if there are no neighbors either... But if it's populated gardening, and everyone has wells (purely for watering) or water supply (but not all), and not a single well, then doubts arise. Not only at what depth is the water, but is there any water at all...

And in this case, I decided to act on luck and hope that there will be the first water carrier within 20 - 30 meters.

Now the drilling process itself, which many call the simplest.

The scheme is really simple.

• The working part itself is a drill string with a "lance" at the end, which, so to speak, loosens the soil due to normal rotations.

• The second element is water, which is fed through the drill string and flushes the loosened soil to the surface.

And at first everything seemed very simple and even worked. The column sank into the ground like clockwork.

But then one important nuance appeared. Soil is not only sand and clay.

Stones Is a nightmare of any driller. What can we say about a newbie like me who just doesn't know what to do with it.

And I did it simply! Drilled and drilled, twisted and twisted these rods, which rang from the stones.

I'm not even talking about a crooked drill string, about unscrewing rods, about bursting couplings, and constantly "whistling" water from all cracks. Why nobody talks about it ???

But in this whole case, the worst thing is the unknown.

✅ When your forces are already running out, and you hope that here is another movement, a few more centimeters, and the drill string will fall into the long-awaited water-bearing sand.

But meter by meter there are stones, then viscous clay, then it is generally not clear what, but no result.

Thus, I spent a week of time, a lot of strength (both physical and mental), and in the end I drilled 21 meters ...

But the goal did not reach 😒.

Many will say - "the fool is to blame for climbing where you don't know". But I would blame myself even more if I didn't try.

All the same, a negative result is also a result. You just need to draw the right conclusions.

❗ But if you think that water production is over, then you are wrong(and probably not subscribed to my channel, otherwise they would know that a person who built a house alone will not just give up).
