This is not a pit for a pool, but a base for a filtration field for my homemade septic tank. I thought concrete was the hardest job.

But having safely mounted the hatches on my creation, I exhaled and relaxed... For a few minutes.

But the relaxation did not last long, there was more "fun" work ahead.

The filtration field for a septic tank, although it is done simply - "dig and fall asleep", but physical strength requires a lot.

Of course, everyone will say that the work is spitting: hired an excavator, but just point with your finger what to do. But in my case, the equipment simply will not drive up to the right place. So that all by myself, all by myself ...

And first of all, it was necessary to dig a foundation pit under it.

I decided to place it along the fence, where in the future there will be a lawn.

Remembering how I famously wanted to dig a foundation pit for the house (with my own hands, gave up after the first square meter, and hired an excavator), I started this work without enthusiasm.

Although the pit is not of the same size, 2 by 6 meters is also not small.

• It was necessary to remove the entire fertile layer

The main thing in this business is not to rush.

For three years of construction with my own hands and almost alone, I realized that if you try to do everything as quickly as possible, with the last bit of strength, then you can stay in this pit.
