It seemed to me not to warm up the cold and damp basement, but it also dried up 👀. "Heat gun" for 1500 rubles - what is it capable of?

I throw all my means into battle to save my basement. Although spending a lot, as always, is not a hunt. And the result can be obtained at the same time?

These three sentences can explain my approach to the case and my lack of understanding of its outcome. When there is a lot of work around the house, you do not take the basement, which is somewhere under your feet, so seriously. But little by little, something needs to be addressed with him.

In previous articles, I already wrote about how the most ordinary channel fan of 14 W, for 500 rubles, helped me.

Now, to help him, I threw heavy equipment.

Well, how hard??? Of course, in comparison with 14 watts, 2000 from a heat gun seems to be powerful, but in comparison with the rest of the market, this is the weakest and cheapest option.

As you can see in different stores the price tag reaches 2000 rubles. So you need to look. I took exactly 1598 rubles.

The first time I turned it on, I didn't even understand what it is?

Of course, it warms strongly by 2000 W, you can feel it. But the fan seems to be blowing weakly... I decided to turn it on for the night with a closed basement, and there was zero sense н.

✅ The technique coped with heating, but this is not enough. In the morning in my basement it was just like a sauna warm and humid.

So the ideal combination is heated with ventilation.

Now I put the heat gun on the basement floor, and for several nights I simply changed its position to make it dry more efficiently. The cannon dried everything, and the moist air was removed by ventilation outside. In a few days, the wet walls and floor turned white. And after the cessation of drying, they no longer gained moisture.

Now all that remains is to maintain normal ventilation ...

At the same time, the power was set to only 1000 W, to save money, since there is a power regulator.

In the future, this baby, I think, will also come in handy.

Of course, they cannot heat huge rooms, but you can create a pleasant atmosphere during work. And I will probably need it in the coming winter.
