Spied a neighbor using a glue gun. Did the same - my wife is happy, I save
Hello, friends.
Here's one way to use an alternative glue gun. In this case, the pistol, of course, performs its direct function. But it becomes much more convenient to glue.
I must say right away that this idea is not new. I saw her dozens of times in all sorts of life hacks on YouTube. But he didn't attach much importance.
The other day I went to a neighbor "for salt." I saw how cleverly she glues the craft to the child at school. Got it - it's time to repeat. It will be useful not only for my wife, but also for me in the garage, in the car and not only.
I have a glue gun with temperature control. Indeed, when gluing massive parts, it is better to keep the temperature higher. The surface warms up more, the glue gets into all the irregularities and holds better.
Unfortunately, at high temperatures, a valve in the nozzle is triggered every time. Glue starts to leak. When you need to glue something every few minutes, this is an unpleasant jamb. You have to disconnect the gun, and then connect it again. Moroka.
I came to the conclusion that it was time to repeat that life hack from the videos that my neighbor had just used.
You will need a box of matches and a glue gun.
We melt a small rim of glue on each match. We apply it somewhere 7-10 mm from the edge with gray.
Now, when you need to glue something pointwise, just light a match. The glue will melt. We apply a drop and glue the desired element. When everything is ready for the next gluing, light another match.
The wife no longer needs to juggle with a hot gun. "Heats up" a little bit of the glue only at those moments when it is really needed.
Plus, there is no savings. For a couple of minutes of gun operation, you can prepare "glue matches" for a month in advance. And you don't have to keep it on for hours. I think that the readings in the electricity bill due to this become 3-5 kW less.
That's all for me today. If the material was useful to you, do not forget about the "thumbs up" 👍.Subscribe to the channel here.
