But some details haunted me.

• What will become of EPS from constant exposure to the sun? Exterior finishing is not planned yet, so this is important.

On different forums, people write that the insulation fades to a maximum in a year, and that's it. I don't know if this is true, write in the comments. Your experience will be helpful.

So you need to do the minimum protection.

For this, I decided to use the simplest cement mortar, but add water glass to it.

• This will make the mortar more durable and prevent moisture from absorbing much.
• I applied everything with a narrow spatula, making a slight slope from the wall for better water drainage.

It all took three and a half buckets of solution, and one weekend.

Honestlythat this is not ideal. After drying, cracks appeared in some places, but in this case it does not matter. I did not plan to achieve tightness.

But it seems to me that it is fashionable to leave the insulation for a long time even in this form.
