They tamed a squirrel, built a mill, erected a wattle fence and other summer achievements of 2020
You are probably interested in the word "helicopter" from the title - in fact, this is an Old Slavonic word that is used today only in Kirov. It means "garden", or in the Soviet way "dacha".
But agree, "helicopter"- sounds more beautiful!
In this article, I will tell and show how we decorated our helicopter in the quarantine year 2020 (and what, there was a lot of time). Perhaps one of you will pick up useful ideas and implement them on your site,
But more, I hope that some of you will look from the outside and in the comments will give your advice and recommendations on how to make it even more beautiful.
The video shows the garden of our dreams: (and the pictures below show what we have so far, laughter and sin :)
The wild squirrel was successfully tamed:
The most delightful thing we have managed is to feed and tame the squirrel. Here she is frolicking on a sunflower in search of fresh seeds.
It took us two weeks to tame the squirrel, fed pumpkin seeds and acorns. The protein was well treated with sunflower seeds herself. She is independent with us!
Made a decorative mill and wattle with pots
I made a decorative mill out of an old clapboard. I didn't even really polish it, I just painted it on top with Tikkurilla, it turned out well, especially when viewed from afar.
The wattle was not made from willow, but from red and yellow maple. A decorative bow specially grew under it, it turned out beautifully.
House from an old tree stump (windows shine at night)
From two old hemp I made such a decorative house. In the first version, its roof was covered with moss, but in the sun it dried up and scattered.
By the way, squirrel "frees" the lower stump for itself - throws off the upper one and sits down to sharpen the plucked head of a sunflower on a large stump. Impudent!
We have grown unusual tulips.
I did the most difficult thing - water the tulip. The wife took it upon herself to do the easiest thing - finding tubers, planting, monthly fertilization and regular weeding. It's always like this ..
Poured a path of stone
A path of rubble and large flat stones was poured around the beautiful blue spruce. It turned out well, although here and there the old linoleum peeps through.
Met beautiful sunsets
And in the evenings we met the most beautiful sunsets of the Volga ...
What achievements of 2020 can you boast of?
I read and respond to all comments, write, it's interesting to read!
