The window is sweating: what to do if your windows are sweating?
Misted windows (especially in the morning) are a familiar problem. You get up in the morning, you come up to move the curtains, and there small droplets of moisture have accumulated in the corners of the window. How to get rid of this?
First, you need to figure out, but why is it suddenly condensing moisture on the windows?
In 90% of cases, the reason is the lack of forced and natural ventilation in the house. And if natural (aka) ventilation is a phenomenon that must be avoided, then forced ventilation should be.
The moisture contained in the warm air does not disappear anywhere and falls out in places of contact with cold surfaces - windows.
To avoid this, you need to either open the window more often for ventilation (= warm the street), or organize supply ventilation in the house.
How to make an inflow for 1000 rubles is shown in this video:
The second reason, due to which moisture can accumulate in the windows - improperly installed heating devices. It is not for nothing that in apartments radiators are placed under the coldest place - windows. On contact with the glass, the air cools and descends, and it is then that the radiator heats it up and sends it back upward, providing constant circulation.
If you havea private house and a heating device are far from the windows, it is worth moving it closer to them.
The third reason is incorrectly adjusted fittings on the windows. Probably, somewhere the elastic band has moved away or the windows are "gagging" and the cold air whistles. Condensation will form at this point.
The solution is simple - tighten the fittings with keys or update the elastic bands.
Fourth (non-obvious) reason - an abundance of flowers on the windows. Yes, women constantly want to bring beauty to the house - to plant flowers, but because of their abundant watering, the air is humid and condensation falls.
The solution is the same as shown in the video: installing a supply valve or installing an air box directly into a plastic window. They are inexpensive, and they solve the ventilation problem perfectly.
