The narrowest house in London: how is it built?
Surely each of you has seen a story about narrow houses in Japan: they are built on patches of land with an area of 12-16 square meters and raised to
3-4 floors. But this is not uncommon for Japan, the land there is very expensive.
But in London it turns out that there are also very narrow houses. The narrowest of them has a facade width of only 1 meter 80 centimeters. Here it is in the photo (its facade is painted blue).
It is noteworthy that this is not part of one of the neighboring houses that belongs to a separate owner. It is a complete home built in a narrow passage between the other two. With precise adhesion of the roof to the neighbors.
The house has only 4 rooms: 2 living rooms and 2 bedrooms, and there is a small garden on the roof. In the house, every corner of the space is used as reasonably as possible: wherever possible there are shelves and racks.
This is what a bathroom looks like in a narrow house. Despite its modest size, it has a window - and having a window in the bathroom is the dream of many women (and neighboring men too).
This is how a minimalistic bedroom on the top floor of the house looks like:
Well, the real pride of this house is a small garden laid out on the roof.
