As they say, "all ingenious is simple"? That's how it happened with me. When you start to "reinvent the wheel" to solve a simple problem, and then the solution pops up by itself.

Greetings friends, today we will talk about the tool that is in the household, almost any man. And if we talk about self-builders, then everyone.

The screwdriver is an integral part of the construction site.

For three years of building my house, this tool has been used at almost all stages.

❗ And not once during this period did he let me down ...

But there was one incident that made me worry.

It was a long time ago, when I was still building the rafter system. Having gathered to tighten the next self-tapping screw, an incomprehensible thing happened.

The screwdriver works, but the chuck does not rotate, it scrolls.

Having tried this and that, nothing changed.

Although the instrument was still under warranty, I had no time to deal with its delivery and waiting for a return, so I decided to disassemble it.

I got to all the parts. The engine is in order (there was no suspicion of it). I was more interested in the gearbox, only there could be a malfunction.

Visual inspection gave nothing, the gears are in place, everything is whole ...

It only remained to try the last option.

Put it back together and hope for a miracle ...

At first, it didn't happen, but then I noticed one oddity.

The gearshift key was in the middle, "neither here nor there." Switching to position one, I tried it, and lo and behold... Everything worked as it should. I tried everything at second speed, tried to rearrange it again to the middle, and oops... the cartridge scrolls.

That's how my carelessness almost led to big trouble.

After that, no incomprehensible situations occurred.

✅ Although I cannot call this version of the screwdriver budget, it definitely worked out my money for three years of construction.

Although how much he still has to endure ...
