What is the Russian Army made of canned food?

Last week I was shopping for food at Pyaterochka and decided to buy a couple of cans of stew to take with me to my dacha. Sorting through the stew of various manufacturers, I came across canned meat Army of Russia from the manufacturer Voentorg. I had heard many positive reviews about them for a long time and it became interesting for me to try them, so I decided to take for a sample all the canned food of this brand (everything that was in stock).

I bought stew, beef goulash, goulash with potatoes and meat with peas.Today we will see what they are made of and whether they are worth the money.

Let's start tasting. I'll start with the meat with green peas. These canned foods are in soft packaging, so their shelf life is no more than 3 years. In the composition, beef is in the first place, then green peas, water, carrots and so on. The share of meat ingredients is 35% (specifically meat - 17%), and the mass fraction of peas is 30%.

Let's see what's inside. For some reason, I thought that the meat and peas would lie separately, but as we see here everything is mixed and so far only one pea is visible.

From above, I did not see fat, it ended up at the bottom of the package and its amount seems to be small. To better understand how much meat is here, let's put the contents on a plate and break it down into ingredients.

So what do we see? To be honest, I was very disappointed, because these canned food consists of almost one pea. Its mass fraction is actually about 60%, instead of the declared 30. There are only 3 small pieces of pure meat. What about taste? The polka dots are soft, but have some kind of aftertaste that I didn't like. The meat itself is tasty, but very little of it.

Considering that these canned food costs 113 rubles, I definitely do not recommend them, because paying that kind of money for peas is simply pointless.

Let's now get down to tasting the beef stew. Maybe at least she will live up to my hopes?

Stewed beef (stew) Russian Army

This stew is of the highest grade. Its shelf life is 5 years. Product weight - 338 g. In the composition in the first place beef, the mass fraction of which together with fat is at least 58%. The fat itself is not more than 17%. Let's open the jar and see what's inside.

Opening the can, I did not see fat, which is very much in the stew of other manufacturers, and this made me very happy. At first glance, the meat is of good quality. Let's put it on a plate and take a closer look.

I really liked these canned food. Here are large pieces of clean meat, without skins, fat, and so on. The fat itself was at the bottom of the can and there was very little of it. There is also a small amount of some kind of jelly sauce left in the jar.

The meat is really high quality and very tasty, it is not peppery or salty. Honestly, for the first time I see a stew, where there is almost one meat! I will definitely take such canned food again, the only thing in Pyaterochka is that the price is very high. There, this stew costs 244 rubles, but on the Internet I found it for 200 rubles.

I also really liked the beef goulash, it is no worse than stew. Goulash with potatoes for everybody. For a more detailed review of these canned foods, I suggest you watch my video below.
