Gluing a furniture board using a homemade additive router.
When I glue a wide piece of several boards for my projects, then when tightening, the glue can move up or down along the edges.
No problem for a pair of boards. Since the joints can be tightened with clamps and there will be no drops. But when there are more details and you need to make a wide part, then clamping all the joints with clamps can be problematic.
In such cases, I use my homemade filler router.
You can learn more about his device in the publication: "Homemade filler router. Device."
In order to prevent the workpieces from moving, I, in addition to gluing, connect them to dowels.
At the joints of the prepared boards, along the edges and quite arbitrarily, I make marks.
Using these marks, using a homemade filler, I make holes for the dowels.
And further, when gluing parts into a shield, the workpieces do not move anywhere.
True, for wide shields, it may be necessary to press the shield in the middle when gluing so that it does not bend in an arc.
