Making a shakaft for the bathroom. Project drawings. Part 1
Greetings.
A couple of years ago I made myself such a locker in the bathroom.
This cabinet is made in a home workshop with hand tools and fixtures. The whole process was recorded on video and further, for those who are interested, I propose to see how this cabinet was made step by step.
This will be a series of publications and in it you will find drawings and overviews of all the fixtures that were used in the work.
It all starts with a project.
The project was made in SketchUp. You can see information about this program at this channel, through search engines on the Internet or on my site.
I also propose to download the drawings for the manufacture of this cabinet. Download drawings. This archive contains a project for SketchUp, lists of parts in PDF format, and drawings that you can print.
The cabinet was made of naturally dried pine boards.
The first stage was the marking of the blanks, based on the project drawings.
Next, a rough cut of the boards was made to cut out knots and other material defects.
Keep another link to the drawings of the universal workplace, which I have been using in my workshop for the 5th year. The drawings can be viewed and download here.
For a more detailed analysis of the project and the choice of material, see the video clip.
In the second part, it will be shown how you can prepare smooth planed parts on homemade devices.
Thanks for reading. I would be glad to have your support in the form of a like and a subscription to the channel. And see other publications on the channel.
Alexander.
P.S. I also invite you to your site.
