Some time ago we went to the spring for water. A lot of people come with their 20 liters. Some of the bottles looked "not the freshest", had a green bloom, turbidity, etc. We were talking about how you can reuse a plastic bottle without allowing germs to grow and blooming. Indeed, even dirt and dust cannot be washed off from the bottom.

And my mother-in-law told me several effective ways to wash such containers. As if she opened a new world)) It turned out to be quick and easy!

Soda and eggshell

For "cleaning work" you need to prepare soda, warm water and pre-crushed eggshells. The shell should not be large, but you do not need to powder it. Chop into pieces of about 5 mm. There should be a lot of shells - several dozen eggs. Shells from both raw and boiled eggs are suitable.

Pour the eggshell into a bottle. In a separate container, mix soda with warm water in a ratio of 50 grams. soda per 1 liter of water. You should get a 5% soda solution. To wash a 20 liter, you will need about five liters of such a solution.

Pour the resulting mixture into a bottle to the eggshell, and leave for a couple of hours. Then we actively twist the bottle and shake it. We do this for 5-10 minutes, until all the dirt and greens are washed off. Next, you need to free the bottle from the mixture of shells and soda, and rinse with clean water.

Rice and water

This method is similar to the previous one. But other components are used. These are rice, water and dishwashing detergent. Instead of rice, you can use buckwheat, lentils and any other cereals.

Pour the groats into a bottle, add detergent and water. Shake, roll, shake! And voila! The container shines with cleanliness and smells fresh.

Nettle

This method has not been tried by me. But, according to first-hand words of the mother-in-law - cleans with a bang!

You will need nettle leaves and boiling water. All. You tear the nettle leaves into a bottle, pour boiling water over it. After 10 minutes, you actively shake, pour out, and you get the cleanest container!
