The most requested homemade machine tools in my home workshop. References to drawings
Greetings.
I already wrote about these self-made machines on the channel Carpenter at home - earlier and at different times.
And in this publication I decided to collect only those machines and devices for which I gave drawings.
Main workplace
For small workshops, this may be a good solution. The main table is made in the form of a massive cabinet. Dimensions 150x75 cm, height 83 cm.
There are niches under the table top for tools that you need at hand. There are also two removable modules. A circular saw is installed in one module, a milling cutter in the other. The modules can be placed both on the long side and on the short side.
When the module is installed from the end, the length of the workbench is 210 cm, and when two modules are installed on the long side of the base, the working surface is 150x135 cm.
Drawings of this workplace can be downloaded here: Drawings of a modular workplace for a home workshop
There you can also learn more about the workbench device and see placement options for various rooms.
Additive router based on a conventional one.
For me, this tool has become the most popular in the assembly of almost any wood product. For example.
With its help, you can accurately make holes for dowels both at the ends and on the plane, and you can also make grooves.
For drawings and examples of how this device is used, see here: Additive router based on a conventional one. Drawings and examples of use
Large jigsaw made of wood
This is one of my favorite machines and quite a lot of wooden pieces are made on it, both for gifts and to order. For example.
This machine is made of wood. At first, a jigsaw worked as an engine, now I put a small asynchronous engine from a washing machine.
Drawings and a description of how this machine was made, see here: How I made a jigsaw out of wood. Blueprints. Part 1
An important part of making this machine is setting it up. And if you decide to make it, then be sure to look at the second part about setting up the machine.
Thanks for reading. I would be glad to have your support in the form of a like and a subscription to the channel. And see other publications on the channel.
Alexander.
P.S. I also invite you to your site.
