How tired of the curious glances of the neighbors! We decided to darken the fence - there are several inexpensive ways
I never thought that I would be involved in a "near-intake" conflict! But... cottage and neighbors! - in these words there is as much pleasant as unpleasant.
Did you know that the regulations prohibit the installation of a solid fence if there is no consent from neighbors? The fence supposedly must be breathable and transparent!
I wonder if there is such a clause in all statutes, or are we just lucky? I haven't figured it out yet.
It seemed to me that our relations with our neighbors at the dacha were quite good. But it turned out that it just seemed to me!
Our site is still fenced off with a chain-link. And then the conversation turned about that it would be time to change the mesh to a normal fence. And then I heard exclamations of indignation. Neighbors do not want a solid fence! They need light, otherwise all the tomatoes will wither.
Hmm... I grinned, I think, why listen to you at all, I will do as I want. But in fact, the charter of the partnership states that a blank fence is not allowed. In case of disobedience - a fine and demolition of the fence.
That's how it is! Funny) But now there is neither time, nor strength, nor desire to argue and negotiate.
He began to simply look for ways to darken the chain-link, so that at least he could hide from prying eyes. And then suddenly quarantine again! We will move to the dacha, and again we will get on public display. Here's what I found:
Shading grid
It is used for awnings. We installed such a child in a kindergarten so that there was a shadow on the playground. This is a pretty dense material. Suitable as a temporary "shelter from the eyes". I do not know how long it will last on the fence. But the price is not very high. Not so sorry.
You can use a facade mesh or mosquito net. They are all fine-meshed. If installed in two layers, it will generally be fine. Light, air, and no view!
Shading mesh in a roll of 50 meters will cost 5-7 thousand. rubles. Facade mesh will be cheaper.
Opaque Polypropylene Fiber Film
This is the material from which bags for flour and sugar are made. They are mostly white. But for a fence - the color is not important. The main thing is that the film is not transparent. Polypropylene film transmits light well, it is not afraid of water, it is resistant to temperature extremes and ultraviolet light.
The only drawback in my case is that the film is practically airtight. But in this case, I will just leave small gaps at the bottom.
Choose the cheapest film available. Or, as a temporary measure, you can use bags.
Masking mesh
Such nets consist of polymer raw materials. And they look pretty good. It seems to me that this is the best option possible. Durable, sturdy, resistant to UV radiation, moisture, etc. There are options for various weaves and colors. From a distance, the camouflage netting on the fence resembles a hedge. But the cost is much more expensive than the previous options. And here you are already thinking how important beauty is.
I would like to believe that such a “shelter” will not have to be installed for a long time.
But if we don't agree on a normal fence, what other options are there? Can someone tell me! How to save yourself?
