They say that there is nothing free in Russia. And the state distributes 150 cubic meters of forest for free!
Almost every inhabitant of our country “haet” the state. This is almost the duty of every citizen of the Russian Federation! But in fact, many of us do not even know about our rights, do not know about some of the benefits and do not use them. This also applies to the issue of timber for personal needs. While everyone says that it is impossible to get anything for free in Russia, others go and take "theirs"!
According to Art. 30 of the Forest Code of the Russian Federation, timber for your own needs can be obtained completely free of charge or at a reduced price.
We are talking about logging specifically for our own needs. In no case for the purpose of further resale.
The procedure for obtaining concessional forest is regulated by the laws of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, or, in other words, by the executive bodies of local authorities.
How do you know if you are eligible to qualify for a free or reduced price #timber? There is no definite answer to this question. To get to the bottom of the truth, you have to find and study a suitable
regional law.To whom, how much and for what purposes is the free forest provided?
In theory every citizen of our country has the right to receive 150 cubic meters of wood, but in reality everything turns out to be not quite so ...
According to Rosleskhoz, there is no clear-cut framework for cubes. The norms are set separately for each subject, depending on the amount of available forest. And in some cities there is no forest at all, therefore, there is nothing to provide people.
It should also be noted that cubes are not given for free, but at preferential rates, which are different for each region. The average preferential price for 1 cubic meter of timber is 63.5 rubles, while in the Murmansk region the cost of a cubic meter is 14 rubles, and, for example, in the Bryansk region - 135 rubles.
Free timber harvesting is available exclusively to indigenous small peoples with a population of no more than 50 thousand. people, including residents:
- northern regions of the Russian Federation
- Siberia
- Russian Far East
In some regions, this right is also granted to the privileged category of citizens:
- disabled
- veterans
- to fire victims
Only those who really need it can benefit from preferential rates. If, if available #apartments, or other housing, you decide to build #dacha for a summer vacation from a privileged forest - you won't succeed.
Saw, chop, sand
Be prepared for the fact that no one will be engaged in logging and delivery of timber for you. You will have to chop, remove, process the wood yourself and at your own expense.
In addition, in these plots, it is possible to cut down not any trees, but only certain ones. This will have to be coordinated with the local forestry.
You also need to collect a list of necessary documents for drawing up a sale and purchase agreement and wait for possible visits by a forest inspector, prosecutors or the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
