Hot stand in the form of a pumpkin. Made from Manchurian walnut

Greetings.

Such coasters are good to make as a gift for any occasion. They are not difficult to make, they can be done quickly.

For this stand, I used a 20mm end cut.

I pre-sanded the workpiece, used 80 R sandpaper to remove saw marks.

Since the prepared template has large enough forms for cutting out, I decided to stick the template only with adhesive tape.

And then with the help of a jigsaw, first the internal shapes are cut, and then the external contour.

Then you need to more carefully sand the stand. First, using a sander with sandpaper, 120 R carefully walked along the planes. Then the inner holes went a little with a file and finally sanded the stand by hand.

After this preparation, I covered the stand with oil. Used oil brand "Belinka" The oil is applied well, has a faint smell, which quickly disappears.

And the result is a stand like this.

I gave the stand to my daughter, she is a big tea lover and is not indifferent to Halloween, which is celebrated at the end of October.
