The safest machine in woodworking. Even children can handle
Greetings.
It's about a jigsaw machine and why you need it in your home workshop.
On this channel, I often publish video clips in which I show the manufacture of various products using a jigsaw machine.
Sometimes these videos have comments like: "I'm still waiting for him to saw off his finger " or "What toy will you run out of fingers on?"
I think it is worth recalling here that cutting with a jigsaw is sometimes the first acquaintance children with woodworking. "Pioneer" manual jigsaw, napkin holders, carved shelves, photo frames, etc.
So in the jigsaw machine exactly the same files are used as in the "pioneer" jigsaw.
In addition, it is safer to work on the machine than with a hand jigsaw. Both hands hold the workpiece, on the machines there is a clamping of the workpiece and this clamp is made in such a way that you can only put your finger to the file on purpose.
To hold the workpiece does not require much effort and it is well controlled even without clamping, and the speed of the saw is adjustable.
And even if by chance, in some incredible way, (or is it on purpose) substitute your finger under such a thin file with a very small tooth, then the matter will be limited to a small cut.
Of course, you need to understand what the tool is intended for and how to work with it in order to get the most out of it.
And with this machine you can do not only puzzles, although this is the simplest one.
With the help of this machine, you can make boxes, baskets for fruits, sweets or foam, various decorative items.
I also do quite a lot of 3D puzzles on the jigsaw machine. Such puzzles have already spread all over Russia. I order them not only for children, but on the contrary, adults order more of them, because such a toy made of natural wood is very pleasant to hold in my hands, it calms and helps to think.
I also used a jigsaw to make stands for outdoor flowers.
Hooks for clothes
There are quite a few directions where you can use such a machine, and it can be called a universal machine. It is especially applicable where you need to do decorative things, or for example you need to cut a complex outline inside a wooden blank.
Of course, not everyone needs such a machine, only if they are fascinated by the manufacture of small decorative crafts from wood. Or if there is a desire to introduce children or grandchildren to work with their hands, so that the child can immediately make a beautiful and functional thing and get his share of admiration from his elders.
