A married couple bought a two-room apartment several years ago. All funds were spent on the purchase of housing, and they also took out a loan. I had to wait with the repairs in order to pay off the loan and save money, repairs are not a cheap pleasure.

It was decided to start repairs in the apartment from the living room, the conditions were too unbearable in it. Wallpaper not only is old, but also dark green - not the best solution for the living room, even a light wall and furniture could not facilitate and improve this interior.

Upholstered furniture, a chest of drawers, a door, a window - everything is out of date. The guys couldn’t wait until the apartment would finally be stylish, modern and comfortable.

Before renovation:

The husband decided to make repairs on his own, without the help of designers. The wife was skeptical about this idea, and even tried to persuade her husband to invite a specialist, but he believed in himself and set to work.

A trendy Scandinavian style was chosen to decorate the living room. Light shades work well for small room design.

One of the walls was decorated with fashionable relief tiles in white, the other walls were decorated with gray wallpaper. Shades of gray work well with white, such as a neat white dresser. The interior of a small room should not be loaded with unnecessary furniture.

We replaced the window, installed a new corner leather sofa in beige and gray. Original modern lamps, mustard-colored curtains and pillows have diluted the interior of the living room. A rug with geometric shapes was laid on the floor near the sofa.

We made a light-colored laminate floor and changed the interior door. Everything in the interior is harmonious and stylish.

The wife was pleasantly surprised by the result, and the husband himself liked the design of the living room. Now you can relax in it after a hard day, watch your favorite films and TV shows. The final result cannot even be compared with what was before the start of the repair.

Now the wife is studying examples of kitchen and bathroom design so that her husband can quickly continue to update the apartment. Perhaps this family hobby will develop into additional income.
