Renovation in the bathroom - when "before" was more comfortable than "after" 🤔

A young married couple decided to make a renovation in the bathroom. Their bathroom layout is rather unusual, here it was necessary to invite an experienced designer who would help to make candy out of the room. But the guys designed everything themselves, based on examples and information on the Internet.

The old bathroom interior was pleasant and harmonious. The lower part of the walls was decorated with tiles of a warm mustard-honey color, the upper half - with white tiles. There was more space in the room.

Of course, everything new looks beautiful, but modern models in this design did not lighten the interior, but made it more massive and complex. Although, the design was completely dependent on the choice of the tenants.

Toilet and washbasin in the room are located separately. The modern wall-hung toilet model looks stylish, but there is a very small distance between the washbasin and the toilet. The washbasin is built into the cabinet, this design looks stylish and fashionable.

A backlit mirror was placed above the washbasin. A water heater was installed on the wall near the toilet, which could be hidden by doors.

We chose beige tiles for interior decoration. In another part of the room, they were able to install a new spacious shower and bath.

Patterned tiles were laid on the bathroom and shower floors. One of the walls in the bathroom was decorated with small tiles in beige and brown tones, and 2 walls in the shower stall were decorated with the same material. The bathtub was also decorated with patterned tiles. A coil was hung on the wall near the shower stall.

In general, the interior of the bathroom turned out to be interesting and stylish. We went a little too far with the pattern and pattern, I should have chosen one thing. This area could be used more efficiently.

The residents are completely satisfied with the result, but we see that the new design was created in the image and likeness of the old one, it was possible to come up with something new and more interesting.

For example, place the bathtub near the wall, and make the shower stall, if so necessary, smaller. Such a layout would free up space for the washbasin, and a small sink could be placed next to the toilet.
