We made repairs and chose an apron for the kitchen, as if covered in mud

A married couple bought the apartment 20 years ago and immediately made a good repair. But over time, the design of the kitchen has become outdated, and all the furniture has become very worn out. The spouses bought an apartment for their son, fully equipped it. After the son got married and began to live separately, the parents began to renovate the interior in their own apartment.

The layout of the kitchen is quite interesting and comfortable, the room goes into the living-dining room. A large white refrigerator was installed near the window, behind it is a corner kitchen set, the upper cabinets are beige, the lower ones are black.

The chosen color combination looks very stylish and harmonious. The protruding corner was closed with a wardrobe with a curved front, thanks to which it became possible to extend the kitchen and add a small bar counter.

The built-in models of modern household appliances in black are ideally suited to the design of the kitchen set. A black sink was installed in the corner of the kitchen, the corner of the upper part of the kitchen was smoothed with a curved facade. The kitchen apron was made of white glass with randomly spaced black spots. One gets the impression that the apron is covered with dirt, this design looks sloppy.

The walls were painted with beige paint, and light-colored tiles with a pale pattern were laid on the floor.

The kitchen design turned out to be quite good, modern, functional, concise, stylish, the color scheme is very pleasant, but the kitchen apron spoils everything. To create the perfect design, you could hide the refrigerator with doors or choose a beige model. I also do not understand the location of the curtain rod, part of the curtain will lie on the refrigerator, the other part will cut it in half.

The spouses in the design of the new kitchen were satisfied with everything except the apron. They decided to immediately change it to a simpler and more monochromatic one.

The tenants really liked the comfortable bar counter, which can also act as a working area. Here you can have a quick meal or drink coffee.
