They destroyed an old bathroom in my grandmother's apartment and made a shower. Before / after photos
A young married couple moved into an apartment that they inherited from their grandmother. Naturally, the elderly woman did not want to make repairs, everything in the apartment reminded her of her past years and youth, moreover, the old people prefer to save on themselves in order to help their children and grandchildren.
Young people gradually made repairs throughout the apartment. Everything had to be changed in each room. The old bathtub was completely destroyed and a shower cabin was installed.
They removed the old tiles, threw away the tub, installed new pipes. They brought water to the shower. The floor was tiled with light-colored tiles, the walls were beige, and the shower stall was brown. We made a drain for water, then a rounded podium. Installed glass doors and taps.
In addition to a shower cabin, a washing machine and a small washbasin were also installed in the bathroom. The room is small, it is difficult to place all the necessary furniture and equipment in it, so you have to choose the most important.
It is rather difficult to decorate a small-sized room in a certain stylistic direction; it is better to choose simple materials in light shades that will visually increase the space.
The result is a neat and functional bathroom. The design is simple, discreet but modern. By replacing the classic bathtub with a shower cabin, it was possible to allocate space for household appliances.
Today, showers can take on a variety of shapes, increasing the popularity of their use in small spaces. For example, the shower drain is practically invisible in the interior, it is convenient for people with disabilities. This is ideal for decorating a small room.
The wife dreamed of a large and spacious bathroom, but a small bathtub in her own apartment is much better than living in a rented apartment or a hostel, for the sake of more comfortable conditions you have to do something sacrifice.
❓❓❓ How do you like this bathroom remodel? What do you think is better, a bath or a shower?
