They gave the children an apartment, and they made some kind of cellar out of it - the parents did not understand the repair in the loft style

Parents gave their children a large one-room apartment in a new building with a rough finish for their wedding. The newlyweds undertook to do the repair themselves. No designers were invited, they decided to decorate their new home in the popular loft style.

But the parents invited after the completion of the renovation did not appreciate the situation. Everything, as in the cellar, could have been made lighter and more comfortable - that was the verdict of the mother-in-law.

But young people like their interior and feel very comfortable in it. Let's see what happened.

The hallway is narrow but long. In addition to a shoe rack and a hanger for outerwear, there is a chest of drawers, a small and large compartment closet. The decoration of the corridor is typical for a loft - dark furniture, bricks, light wood floors.

Despite the predominance of dark shades, the corridor does not look gloomy. This is due to the light flooring, white ceiling and good lighting.

The kitchen in the apartment is very spacious. It even accommodates a wide two-door refrigerator. They decided to make the upper facades of the kitchen furniture white, and the lower ones - a dark oak look. The apron area is not delimited - the entire wall is trimmed with one material - brick panels.

There are open modules in the upper part of the furniture - more of a design move. the working area is large and comfortable. The white sink, matched to the color of the countertop, is barely visible in the corner space.

There is no interior door between the kitchen and the corridor, which makes the space lighter.

The solution with a glossy stretch ceiling is not entirely clear - usually matte surfaces are used in a loft. Perhaps, in this way, the tenants wanted to visually expand the space. After all, gloss has a reflective property and creates the illusion of projection of space.

In general, the kitchen is nice and functional, there is no feeling of being cramped. Light floors and a lot of light take away the gloominess of a loft.

A small round dining table is located by the window, between the kitchen area and the living room.

There is a large sofa in the living room, which also serves as a sleeping place (it is folding). There is a TV in front of him. Textiles on the windows are matched to the interior - dark curtains go well with light white tulle.

The renovation of the one-room apartment turned out to be very stylish, in the spirit of youth and the married couple feels very comfortable in their home. And what the parents don't like is not for them to live.
