Modern renovation of a one-room apartment - but some cold and completely uncomfortable
Starting to renovate the apartment, the family decided to combine the kitchen with the living room. Due to the transfer of the dining group to the border of two rooms, the working area has increased. To make the combined space look orderly, it was divided by a high partition.
The design of both the kitchen area and the living room area is designed in the same style and neutral colors. Blue-gray walls in the interior look austere and stylish. The flat white ceiling and light floor look very nice and unite both parts of the room into one whole.
A spacious kitchen set of soft porcelain-white color, with flat glossy facades, is located along the wall. Upper cabinets - up to the ceiling step, they have many closed places for storing everything you need. There is no clutter and unnecessary junk.
The inset sink to match the countertop is moved to the corner wall. Apparently, in order to protect it from dirt, part of the apron comes into it.
It is lined with a herringbone tree with offset colored and monochromatic tiles in beige, brown and marsh colors, repeating the pattern of the flooring. Only a dark hob and a built-in oven are visible.
By the embossed partition, painted in the color of the walls, there is a white table with comfortable soft chairs covered with faux leather.
The lighting of both parts of the room is separate: above the dining group and in the recreation area - catchy designer lamps.
The living room has a minimum of furniture. There is a large three-seater sofa with pillows on one of the walls. Its upholstery blends in with the color of the walls. Next to it is a white chest of drawers of the same design as the kitchen units.
Opposite there is a dark cabinet with glazed shelves and a yellow ottoman. They do not fit into the overall picture at all, although their colors could be played up with bright decorative pillows.
The TV panel is fixed on the partition, but it is located somehow inconveniently relative to the sofa. It would be nice to move it to the place of the cabinet.
Noteworthy is the complete absence of any kind of decor. The room is decorated with large floor-to-ceiling windows. There are cornices above them, probably for future curtains.
In general, the kitchen-living room looks very stylish and laconic. But, it is somehow a little cold and uncomfortable in it. Perhaps the impression will change: after all, the room has just been renovated and is not inhabited.
❓❓❓ How do you like this minimalistic interior? What is missing, what should be added, changed?
