DIY magnetic knife holder
Probably many in the kitchen have a bunch of different knives that are randomly located in some special container or headset drawer. Until some time I had all the cutlery mixed with each other.
So I decided to make a handy magnetic knife holder with my own hands. For manufacturing, complex hard-to-reach materials are not needed and this is the most important thing.
Required materials: rectangular lacquered chipboard board (I have left from the old computer desk), five neodymium magnets, hot melt glue.
From the tools, you will need a drill with a special drill for blind holes in wood.
To begin with, we take our chipboard and mark it into five identical parts. In each part we drill a blind hole in the middle. the diameter of the hole should be slightly larger than the diameter of the magnets so that they can freely enter there.
In my case, the hole diameter was 30 mm.
We drilled five holes, inserted neodymium magnets into them and fixed them with hot melt glue. To convey a more aesthetic appearance, I painted the homemade product with a special varnish for wood in black.
The holder is ready. For ease of use, it must be fixed in an easily accessible place on the wall or kitchen apron. This can be done with hooks or double-sided tape.
