Useful homemade product for corner welders

This time we will make a useful home-made product, which will simplify the work of welders several times under certain circumstances. The basis of this invention is a steel corner profile 50 centimeters long.

Also, to implement the idea, you will need a bicycle chain and a few small screws.

Of the tools, you will need a grinder, a welding machine and a vice.

First, take our piece of the corner profile, clamp it in a vice and cut it into three parts with a grinder. One piece should be 30 cm long and two pieces 10 cm long.

We must clean all the edges of the slices so that we do not get hurt later during the work.

We got three corners, which we now need to weld together in the correct way.

To do this, we clamp a 30 cm corner in a vice and weld ten-centimeter ones in turn.

Next, you need a regular bicycle chain. First, you need to open it, and then cut it into two parts with a grinder.

We weld these two parts of the chain to the short corners of our structure, as shown in the photo below.

Now it remains to weld on a few more parts, the role of which will be played by two ordinary short shurpa. We weld them to the opposite side of the short corners.

The chain, together with the screws, will act as a kind of fixator for convenient welding, for example, of two round pipes.

The principle is simple: we put two pieces of pipe lengthwise on short corners, put on a chain and fix it by hooking it onto the screws.

The result is a rather convenient fixing device that will allow you to weld two pipes of the same kind to each other without difficulty and additional gestures.
