Starting the renovation of the apartment, the family finally decided to pay special attention to her "face", that is, the hallway. Quite spacious, it looked unsightly due to its outdated design. Open shelves with all sorts of small things, a now unfashionable arch, brown doors of a wardrobe looked too dull.
To begin with, the old cabinet was dismantled, the old finish was removed, the opening was returned to its previous shape and the flooring was replaced with a light beige laminate. After that, any ideas could be embodied, but the owners settled on a simple, restrained design. Laconic and functional, it has changed the premises in the most dramatic way.
The color scheme of finishing materials is traditional for minimalism: exclusively natural tones. Light ones add lightness and airiness to the space, and the inclusion of dark ones gives an interesting contrast.
White stretch ceiling with hidden LED lighting for bright, diffused and even light. The so-called "floating line" - from wall to wall, along the room - fits perfectly into the overall design style. In addition, it echoes the design of the doors, on which narrow glass is inserted in the same asymmetric way.
Combined wall decoration - they are of different colors: the chocolate shade in combination with white looks very harmonious. It would seem that paint in the hallway is not the most practical option, but its dimensions reduce the risk of contact with the walls to a minimum.
Furniture - only a large built-in wardrobe along the entire length of the wall. He hides all outerwear and shoes from prying eyes. Sliding doors are one continuous mirrored surface from ceiling to floor.
Mirrors are generally used to the maximum here: the opposite door has exactly the same design. This technique visually expands an already considerable room.
The highlight of the interior is an original floor lamp with a large rectangular glass shade. It perfectly compensates for the complete absence of decorative elements.
As a result of all the alterations, a comfortable and spacious hallway was obtained. A modern and stylish interior with strict lines, as they say - simple and tasteful.
