Usually, older people prefer to save money on repairs, considering it a waste of money. Most often, they try, refusing to themselves, to help children and grandchildren. It is good when children take care of their parents, they have the opportunity to help them. Such relationships are expensive.

An acquaintance of mine, together with his sister, made repairs to the parents in the kitchen, when they were at the dacha in the summer. The children bought all the necessary materials together, and the young man was engaged in the installation of the kitchen set and finishing work himself, as he worked as a builder.

The kitchen area is small; it was necessary to do something modern, beautiful and functional. We installed a corner kitchen set with the upper row of cabinets in light green, the lower one - brown. The tabletop was made under a tree.

A new silver refrigerator was placed in the corner near the window, and a sink, a hob and an oven were also installed in the lower cabinets. The kitchen apron was decorated with olive-colored tiles, the walls were covered with light green wallpaper with vertical stripes. We installed a light green stretch ceiling with halogens, the floor was covered with laminate.

The result is a neat and stylish kitchen. The unusual arrangement of the cabinets makes the design of the kitchen unit original.

Well-chosen colors. The combination of green shades with wooden elements always looks advantageous, the colors fill the room with an atmosphere of comfort and home warmth.

Upon returning home, the parents were pleasantly surprised by the children's gift, they had long dreamed of such a kitchen design. I must say that the pensioners grumbled a little, but then they still thanked the children. Mom was very happy with the modern household appliances.

If possible, create comfortable living conditions, you should not give it up at any age. Older people spend a lot of time at home, so why should they deny themselves beautiful, modern and functional renovations.
