We bought an apartment in a new building and then really regretted it

Nowadays, new houses are being built quite quickly and there are quite a few of them in every city. They are growing by leaps and bounds, you can’t say anything, but what it’s like to live in a new building and what you might encounter when buying an apartment in such houses is a separate topic.

In 2013, my wife and I decided to improve our living conditions in connection with the birth of our second child. Before that, we lived in an ordinary one-room Khrushchev with an area of ​​30 square meters, everything suited us.

However, it became rather crowded in the four of us and we understood that we needed to buy at least a two-room apartment. I had to sell one-room apartment, borrow money from my parents and use maternity capital. Then it was 408,000 rubles.

As a result, we bought a two-room apartment in a new building. It has already been repaired. Not euro, of course, but it was clean and comfortable, which was the most important thing for us at that time. After a while, we greatly regretted it

At first, we were happy with the new housing, like little children, and began to furnish the apartment: we bought all the necessary equipment and furniture, a kitchen set, and so on. It would seem to live and rejoice.

However, after a week we faced a huge problem in our opinion. From the very morning, starting at nine o'clock, drilling, rumbles and other types of household noise began - neighbors in many apartments made repairs for themselves.

This went on for probably three months. It was simply unbearable to live during this period. Why didn't we take this into account? We don't know ourselves. Probably in the first place was the desire to get a new apartment.

But it all seemed like flowers compared to what happened next. literally a month after we moved in, almost all our plumbing broke down. The taps in the bathroom and kitchen were leaking. It turned out that the mixers and taps were the cheapest. In the toilet, the toilet flush broke completely.

I had to spend a lot on the complete replacement of these plumbing products. Everything about everything took about twenty thousand rubles, not counting the fact that I had to install and change on my own, otherwise the costs would have been even greater.

In addition to all of the above, we were faced with another problem, which also implied financial costs - just an exorbitant communal apartment. When we were buying an apartment, we immediately asked the sales office how much money we would have to pay for the rent. We were told that no more than 6,000 rubles for four.

In fact, in the very first month, a payment came in in the amount of 8900 rubles, and this is for 63 square meters! Moreover, with each new month, the amount only increased, although not by much.

The very last thing that finished us off was an incident that happened to our neighbors on the fifth floor. One morning a young mother and her daughter called the elevator, went in, it closed. After he began to descend, suddenly everything rattled and the box with people just flew down.

Thank God they got off with bruises and fright. They saved the safety rubber cables that were installed on the ground floor under the elevator itself. This case caused a huge response in our city, after which the city administration appointed an inspection of the developer.

It turned out that a lot of money was laundered during the construction of the house. All construction materials and other components were of low quality and the most budgetary. Although in reporting papers everything was written quite differently and prices naturally differed significantly.

Having lived in a new building for about a year, we sold our apartment and with this money bought a kopeck piece in a stalinka. Well, these new buildings are falling apart before our eyes, and the cost is going through the roof.

By the way, our city is full of unpleasant incidents in new houses, every week they show situations on TV. which defy any logic. Why are they building so poorly now? really do not care at all about the people?
