We make a fountain for a summer residence from cement

Good day, dear subscribers and guests of the channel. Today we will make a beautiful cement fountain for the summer cottage. In the material I show the idea itself, and you already select the sizes and materials based on your needs and the characteristics of the landscape.

To begin with, we make a square hole, about 20-30 cm deep, which will serve as a container for water.

Next, we make a cement mortar and lay out the walls of our water pool with it. The thickness of the cement layer must be at least two centimeters.

Now you need to make such hooks from steel wire. It is important here from steel wire, since copper or aluminum will bend.

We insert these hooks into the body of the pool as shown in the photo.

Now we take a long weasel of any fabric and wet it well in a liquid cement mortar.

We put the impregnated fabric on steel hooks as in the photo. This fabric creates a gutter around the edges of the pool in which we will plant the flowers.

Now we are making the base for the pool. We spread the cement mortar on a flat surface and smooth it to a thickness of at least 2 cm. In about the same way as the pancake dough is laid out.

Then we cut isosceles squares from this pancake, each next square should be 2-3 centimeters less than the previous one.

In the center of the fountain there will be a pipe through which we will pump water. For this pipe, we immediately make a hole in the center of each square.

After the square plates have dried, proceed to assembly. We put the plates on the pipe in the necessary sequence to get a pyramid. You can grease between the plates with cement for bonding, or you can leave it that way.

After assembling the pyramid, cut off the excess part of the pipe.

Moving on to the pool equipment. We put the HDPE pipe on the center, on which our pyramid will stand. We place a submersible water pump in the pipe with the outlet of the discharge pipe to the surface.

Next, we put the pyramid on the pipe, fill the pool with water. If desired, you can coat the cement with a protective moisture resistant impregnation or paint.

Next, we plant flowers along the edge of the pool, turn on the pump and rejoice))
