We wanted to renovate the kitchen in the “expensive and rich” style, but it turned out to be expensive and tasteless

A married couple has finally saved up money for repairs in the apartment. We started renovating the interior from the kitchen. The large area of ​​the room allows you to implement any design ideas. The couple wanted a chic interior in the “expensive-rich” style, but it didn’t turn out exactly as it seemed, there was not enough professional help.

A beige kitchen set with gold accents in a classic style was installed along the wall. The kitchen backsplash was made of brown rectangular tiles, the black stone countertop dilutes the golden hue.

The beige oven and hob fit well into the interior of the kitchen, the hood was hidden behind the facades. Dishes and other kitchen utensils were hung on the rails.

To the left of the entrance to the room, a wardrobe was installed; in a free corner near the window, a small bedside table was placed on which a microwave oven was placed. An air conditioner was installed under the ceiling. The window sill was replaced with part of the tabletop.

A refrigerator was placed to the right of the entrance, then a round beige table and chairs in a classic style. The walls were finished with peach-colored Venetian plaster with golden tints, beige tiles on the floor of the bed. A large luxurious chandelier was hung in the center of the ceiling.

The window was covered with "day-night" roll-curtains, the curtains and curtains were abandoned.

The design of the kitchen turned out to be pretty good, but I want to fix some flaws. The color scheme is chosen in such a way that the room merges into one beige-brown spot, there is too much gold, stains and stains in the design and decor.

I just want to dilute the interior with white details. Someone likes the kitchen, some don't, but it falls short of ideal. Everything is somehow strange and tasteless, there is not enough comfort and home warmth.

The couple also noticed some details that did not suit them. But the repair is over and we will have to use what we have.
