Improving the pliers. Almost automatic now

If it is necessary to perform the same actions with pliers, I, like everyone else, probably spend some of the time trying to bring them into working position, that is, to open them again. To simplify the work, I decided to additionally install a spring so that they work like a garden pruner.

The spring should be rigid enough so that it does not weaken from repeated manipulations and the diameter corresponds to the thickness of the handles.

I slightly bent two turns of the spring on the right and left, so that it was convenient to put on the pliers. For normal springback, it is enough to leave 4-5 working turns.

I remove the insulating handles from the pliers and put on the spring. With the convex side, I draw the spring away from myself. It seemed to me that it is more convenient to install it that way than vice versa. I think it's less likely to bite your fingers that way.

I did not start the spring strongly up, since the jaws of the pliers then do not close normally. I tried to put the same spring on large pliers, it also comes out fine.

I bring back the plastic handles and try the modernized tool at work. The handles serve as stops for the spring and it will not go anywhere. Everything works perfectly. The spring does not create a special load on the hand, unless you have to bite too much, then, of course, it will get tired.

If there is a spring with a larger diameter, then you can try to put it directly on the handles. Well, here I will not say how convenient it is, I have not tried it.

It is generally a pleasure to work with wire, it clicks small nails like seeds, bites nails thicker with effort, but snacks and it turns out much faster than before.
