FM antenna for smartphone from nothing. And working
I already feel that the reaction to this post will be ambiguous, since I already had a similar experience when I published a similar article about an FM antenna for a smartphone, only from other materials. This time it's still more delicate and safer for headphone jacks.
A homemade antenna will always help out when there are no headphones at hand, through which the radio is most often launched on smartphones, but there is a simple set of any home master.

You just need to find the right size self-tapping screw. And it will also come in handy a piece of electrical tape, only good thin and sticky. Well, one vein from a stranded wire will also be needed.
You need to find not any self-tapping screw, thinner, so that it can easily enter the headphone jack to the very bottom without processing. I found it among the yellow ones. Had to
bite off his tip and rub on a block. Also on the bar you need grind off the threadsso that the screw in the connector dangles slightly. Here you can not be afraid to overdo it, everything is fixable.Prepared fasteners are now needed wrap with duct tape, literally 1 turn, well, one and a half maximum. After the electrical tape is tightly pressed along the thread, the profile of the self-tapping screw should become clearly visible. This is important as you will have to use grooves later on. I wind the electrical tape a little above the edge of the tip - on 3-4 mm.
Now it's time to find a piece of stranded electrical wiring and pull out all aboutbottom vein 10-15 cm long. It seems that a wire with a cross section of 2.5 mm2 is better than others due to the strength of the vein. Further, in several turns, the vein is wound on an insulated self-tapping screw slightly above the lower edge of the electrical tape. How best to wind it up is a question, here you have to think and decide for yourself.
You can put on a grasping loop, or you can tie it with a stirrup, but an option without difficulties is also suitable - just wind up without securing the edges, which is the least reliable, since the wire can then remain in connector.
When the wiring is tightly wound on a self-tapping screw and holds well, the task of making the antenna can be considered solved.
Now I turn on the radio, insert the self-tapping antenna into the "jack" connector and wait until the headphone icon appears on the screen, which indicates the success of the efforts. I try to switch radio stations and I understand that everything works. Order in business and music for the mood is now at hand even without headphones!
