Friends, the secret has finally been revealed and I am immediately sharing with you. Exactly six months ago, I posted an article on the channel about unusual way of sharpening drills, which caused a lot of controversy and criticism. Specialists were especially dissatisfied, which is not surprising, since the considered sharpening methodadmittedly enough controversial but not useless.

Recently I managed to find out how a friend who told me about him could have learned about this idea, the essence of which I will briefly recall.

The proposed sharpening of a blunt drill is performed using a drill or screwdriver in reverse mode, that is, reverse. In the article he showed that to sharpen in the attached piece of sandpaper, you need to make several half-holes on the reverse, after which the blunt drill drills better and demonstrated this in the video on example of wood.

And so, now I can point to the source of this idea, to which, apparently, my friend referred to, by whom is a very authoritative, respected and still popular since the times of the USSR publication with a long-term history - journal "Science and Life".

So now I can assure you that my friend did not invent anything in terms of this unusual technology, but only passed it on as it is. The method is not ideal, but sometimes it can still help out.
