Heating a garage or workshop during winter is not a difficult task, but the heat source must be inexpensive and efficient. Car service centers heat their premises with waste oil stoves, carpentry workshops - with wood and scraps. For the second case, the option of an inexpensive oven from two barrels with a refractory brick loop lined inside will be interesting.

This option is if the garage is large and the stove cannot cope with such an area. For assembly you will need: two barrels, pieces of sheet steel, corners, bricks, chimneys. We cut out the opening and weld the neck for the door. Yes, you can't do without a welding machine and a grinder.

The ash pan is welded in - we cover it with bricks. Make the holes of the grate larger. If the stove is fired with wood, then you can use ordinary solid bricks, even used ones. And if coal, then they can crumble from high temperatures. At least, it is better to lay out the firebox compartment with chamotte, refractory bricks. But it does not conduct heat well, the efficiency will decrease slightly.

They need to be cleaned somehow. You can do the old-fashioned way - heat the stove with an aspen. They say it helps to clean.

It happens that you are in those places where there is no electricity (hunting, fishing). And it is not always convenient to carry a gas stove with you. You can cast just such a homemade rocket furnace, which has a very low cost. Take her to that resting place - and leave there. Pour concrete into a plastic bucket.

But instead of plastic pipes (voids), it is better to use scraps of ceramic chimneys. And leave them inside the concrete. Otherwise, the concrete can be destroyed by fire.

We cut the bucket. The armature is a stand for a frying pan (for a gap and creating air draft). Bolts can be used instead of reinforcement. The second slide is a similar construction, only without a bottom.

In order not to mess with concrete - the stove can be made from building blocks. But you need to carefully break off the inner partition and one block - the side one. With a hammer or cut with a grinder with a disc on the stone. The higher the oven, the better the draft will be. But such a furnace will not work for permanent use - the concrete will quickly collapse. Option for rare use.
