In the process of building a house and other buildings on your site, the question inevitably arises: where to move the excess soil from the pit under the house, from the septic tank, from the cellar or caisson for the well. It is good if you have black soil and sand. Moved, mixed and leveled on the part where the vegetable garden will be. What about the clay? The simplest thing is to hire a technician and take it out. Is it possible to minimize or completely zero costs?

First, I'll give you my example. I have a site with a slight slope. Under the bath, I removed sod and black soil and moved everything to the lower part of the site. Manually, by cart. It was not far away.

When digging a site (a small pit) under the foundation-slab of the house, I did the same. Chernozem separately down the site. And clay - to the neighbor. He also decided to align, to make the site more horizontal:

It turned out not so expensive for the rental of equipment, because the truck did not have to travel far. Therefore, advice: before starting such work - ask in your village who needs soil.

And what if a truck cannot come to your site. Or did you not find neighbors willing to accept the soil? Are there any other ways to get rid of the clay? You can use the same Bobcat to remove a layer of fertile soil, chernozem, pour a layer of clay and fill it with chernozem back. Costs - 2.5 thousand / hour. Works on average for 5-6 hours.

You can leave the clay, put it in bags and make earthen terraces. Sprinkle the bags with black soil and plant various ornamental plants.

Leave the soil from the cellar or caisson too, and later create such a landscape design, transforming the entrance to the cellar in the form of an alpine slide:

There are many options for making a beautiful entrance. You can even decorate it in the style of a "hobbit house". The kids will love it. The options are reduced to pouring soil over the stone structure of the entrance to form a dugout. And then - stone, blocks, etc. decoration options.
