The machine is still under warranty, 10 months after purchase, but did not pull until it was heavily clogged and cleaned it. I'll show you how to clean the filter in the washing machine and put everything back together. I will say that the Indesit filter is hidden under the decorative panel, which had to be removed. Filter cleaning took less than 5 minutes.

The decorative cover that covers the filter is plastic and flexible enough. You can pry it off with a screwdriver, but in order not to scratch the paint on the metal case above, I used a strip of PCB. You can try to do this with a ruler or something similar.

After removing the lid from the bottom opposite the filter, I put a shallow plate (you can use a tray), but if the machine is not on stands, like mine, it is enough to put a well-absorbing rag. I remember the position of the filter knob and unscrew it counterclockwise, but not completely. First, I let the water flow, which has run down less than a glass, somewhere between 150-200 ml.

It happens that the plastic filter turns sour and it is difficult to unscrew it even with two hands. Someone manages to use WD-40 at the same time, but I think it will not help much, although you can try, of course. As you can see, the filter I removed is completely clean, and you don't need to wash it, except to rinse it. But often from the filter you have to get pebbles, sand coins, screws, a ringlet, screws, nuts, beads and a bunch of rags.

After washing the filter, it is worth checking with your fingers whether there is any debris inside the hole where it stood, wipe the remaining dirt with a cloth and wipe the thread to avoid leakage.

After washing, I put the filter back and turn the handle to its original position. I insert the decorative cover from the bottom up: first I put in the lower antennae, then I snap the upper ones. That's all!
