How to clean dishes from carbon deposits?

Many housewives periodically have a question - how to clean pots from carbon deposits or pans. Moreover, this problem applies not only to new dishes. In many houses there are probably still old pans from the times of the USSR made of cast iron, aluminum or duralumin. At first glance, their condition seems deplorable, and there is a desire to simply say goodbye to them. However, take your time. There is an exit!

We bring to your attention several effective ways to clean dishes, even from the oldest carbon deposits.

1. Ammonia. Unscrew from pans plastic handles, if any. We place the dishes in three sealed bags. Then pour about 50 ml of ammonia into the pan, carefully distributing the liquid over the entire surface of the dish. We tie the bags tightly and leave in this form for about 10-12 hours. It is advisable to leave it on the balcony for safety. During work, keep the window open and protect the respiratory tract. After the specified time, we take out the dishes. Carbon deposits are cleaned effortlessly, even with a finger.

2. Stationery glue + laundry soap + soda. This method will allow you to get rid of even a thick and old layer of carbon deposits. We grate a piece of laundry soap, take a glass of soda ash and 100 g of office glue. Place all of the listed ingredients in a large container of boiling water. Boil the dishes in this solution for about 2 hours, periodically adding water as it evaporates. Keep the window open during cooking. Next, we wait for the solution to cool and take out the dishes. The softened carbon deposits, as a rule, fall behind by themselves. If necessary, you can use a steel wool or sponge.

3. Soda + vinegar. Mix equal parts 9% vinegar and soda. Grate soiled pans with the resulting mixture and leave for 30 minutes. Then wash the dishes using a sponge.

4. Activated carbon. Such a simple recipe will help to cope with soot. Sprinkle with crushed activated carbon (about 10 tablets will be needed) sprinkle on a damp, dirty surface. Leave for an hour. After the specified time, wash the dishes in the usual way.

5. Calcination. The method is suitable for ceramic and Teflon coated dishes. Fill a container with water, put on fire and boil for 15 minutes. After this time, wash the dishes under running water.

6. Alcohol. Suitable for cleaning dirt from delicate coatings. Treat burnt areas with a napkin moistened with alcohol. Then wash the dishes.
