Advice 2. To determine the location of the tiles, we recommend that you first lay out one row of tiles along two walls at right angles (with the letter "D"). This will allow you to determine if there is a right angle in the room. Next, you need to decide what width the "trim" will be, and on which side it should be left. As a rule, such areas are left under furniture. We prepare "undercuts" taking into account the required dimensions, so as not to waste time on this when laying tiles.

Advice 3. Always prime the surface before tiling. It is advisable to use a primer with antifungal additives.

Tip 4. Place a mark on one of the outermost tiles, for example, tracing it around the edges with a pencil. If the first of the tiles is turned even a couple of mm during installation, the gap can be up to several cm during installation.

Tip 5. When preparing tile glue (according to the instructions), it is better to thin it, because adhesion to the base increases several times.

Tip 6. It is advisable to mark the second row of tiles in order to gently apply glue without spreading dirt.

Tip 7. Apply a small layer of tile adhesive to the floor under the first tile for best adhesion. Then we apply glue to the tile itself and lay it according to the previously established marks. It is advisable to hold it for some time for the glue to "set". This will keep the following tiles from moving while laying.

Tip 8. Apply glue to the floor under each next tile in this row in small portions. Next, we distribute the glue in an even layer over the outlined surface. Then we work on the applied layer with a comb trowel at an angle of 45 ° C, removing excess glue.

Tip 9. It is advisable to calibrate the tile before laying. There is also an arrow on the back of the tile, this is a necessary guideline when laying in order to preserve the pattern. We lay the tiles one after another in turn, adjusting the seams with a cross.
